📋 Description

• Review and process formulary change requests from Health Net plans • Submit and maintain formulary change requests to Health Net’s pharmacy claims processor • Generate, maintain and review Formulary Status Grids • Use reports to perform audits and quality checks for formulary accuracy and contract compliance • Assist Clinical Pharmacist with formulary database maintenance and company website updates • Perform assignments for pharmacy audit and recovery functions • Review paid claims for quantity and/or billing discrepancies • Correspond with pharmacies regarding review findings and fax related inquiries • Answer incoming calls and respond to pharmacy correspondence • Update Access database with phone calls, faxes and emails • Review prescription drug and pharmacy benefit requests from physicians, medical groups, pharmacies and members • Research and resolve questions, problems or issues; consult Clinical Pharmacists or Regional Medical Director as needed • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required • 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience required • Customer Service/retail experience preferred • Valid Pharmacy Technician License preferred • Ability to review and process formulary change requests • Ability to research and resolve questions, problems or issues • Ability to comply with company policies and standards
