📋 Description

• Supervise Prior Authorization, Concurrent Review, Retrospective Review Clinical Review and/or Appeals teams • Supervise day-to-day activities of the utilization management team • Monitor and track UM resources for performance, compliance, quality, and efficiency • Collaborate with the utilization management team to resolve complex care member issues • Maintain knowledge of regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices • Identify process and quality improvement opportunities • Educate and provide resources to the utilization management team • Monitor nurses and ensure compliance with applicable guidelines, policies, and procedures • Develop and implement UM policies, procedures, and guidelines with senior management • Evaluate team performance and provide feedback on goals and career milestones • Coach and guide team members • Assist with onboarding, hiring, and training • Lead and champion change • Perform other assigned duties and comply with policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in Oklahoma • Active RN license required • Graduate of an Accredited School Nursing or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required • Experience in utilization management • Willingness to participate in weekend on-call coverage • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Computer savvy • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Strong attention to detail • Organizational and management abilities • Effective time management skills • Knowledge of utilization management principles preferred
