📋 Description

• Report to the Clinical Manager • Help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence in their homes • Administer the physical therapy treatment plan developed by the Physical Therapist • Perform active and passive manual therapeutic exercises • Provide therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities • Document client records and submit clinical documentation to the office weekly • Attend educational meetings and coordinate department in-services • Notify the Physical Therapist or Branch Director about equipment failures, supply shortages, or staff/client changes • Apply infection control concepts and universal precautions during patient care

🎯 Requirements

• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy • Valid driver's license • Auto insurance • Reliable transportation • Current CPR certification • Experience collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals • Comprehensive knowledge of the physical, emotional, social, and biological changes that occur in the geriatric population • Read, write, and speak fluent English • One year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (preferred) • Must complete TB screening if selected • Must maintain personal vehicle liability insurance
