📋 Description

• Receive inbound phone calls from patients and providers to review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness of therapy • Check for drug interactions and use resources/guidelines to support decision-making • Use problem-solving skills and ability to use resources for professional decision-making • Work on assignments that vary and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action while following established guidelines and department procedures • Make decisions with minimal direction, occasionally in ambiguous situations and receive guidance where needed • Work independently and within a team setting to achieve goals and meet deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (Bachelor of Science or PharmD) • Active PHARMACIST license from the Arizona, Florida, Ohio, OR Texas State Board of Pharmacy • 2 or more years of experience as a pharmacist in a high-volume retail, hospital, specialty or mail order pharmacy practice environment • Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs • Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate effectively within the team and to patients or caregivers • Proficient in computers and comfortable trouble-shooting technology issues • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and OneNote
