📋 Description

• Provide medical oversight, expertise, and leadership supporting clinical indication expansion, new product development, and clinical trials • Lead medical strategy and planning • Support clinical, marketing, and product strategy • Engage customers through the pre-PO sales process, hospital executive engagements, and workflow discussions (~70% time) • Educate the sales team and work with sales training and leadership • Develop physician advocates to present Ceribell products • Support marketing engagement with medical societies and advisory boards • Give talks and webinars representing Ceribell • Support evidence generation and publications (~10%) • Develop publication, retrospective study, and investigator-initiated study strategies • Identify and develop KOL and physician relationships • Support regulatory trial design and data collection or approval • Keep the organization updated on the latest literature and identify medical opportunities • Provide medical expertise to Product and R&D teams on future products • Interface with FDA and payers for Regulatory and Reimbursement teams • Advocate for rapid EEG adoption and reduced time from EEG ordering to setup

🎯 Requirements

• MD, DO or MD/PhD degree required • Experienced Neurologist or Intensivist with at least 10 years of experience in industry or as an attending physician • Critical care experience required • Experience with the Ceribell platform • Experience and strong knowledge of neurological assessment and acute care workflow – highly desired • Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, good judgment and decision-making skills, high degree of EQ and well-balanced ego • Dedication to integrity, transparency and honesty • Data-driven mindset and ability to envision applications of new technologies to solve complex patient needs • Commercially oriented mindset and understanding of the product commercialization pathway • Expertise presenting breakthrough products and new technologies to physicians • Understanding of the external marketplace and medical literature • Excellent written, verbal communication, influence/leadership, and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, data-driven entrepreneurial environment • Creative and critical intellect with openness to new ideas • Results-oriented executive able to prioritize competing tasks and drive closure • Effective collaborative interpersonal skills • Comfortable with rapidly changing organizational needs and start-up resources • Ability to interface effectively with all organizational levels and the Board of Directors • Senior clinical/medical leadership experience with an excellent working relationship with the FDA • Significant experience relating to marketing and business issues, focused on clinical and medical support of commercial assets • Broad contacts in academic medical centers, major practice centers, and the medical device industry • Remote (US-Based) • Up to 40% travel required (typically 2 days per week)
