📋 Description

• Participate in meetings with business unit leadership, systems owners, and end users to define system requirements and identify existing issues • Participate in planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications • Participate in design sessions to prototype new systems and enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow • Participate in roadmap planning based on assigned business units’ goals, objectives, and priorities • Adhere to systems-analysis scope and parameters to define predictable outcomes and action plans • Analyze operating systems and processes and recommend solutions or alternatives • Adhere to project timelines and communicate project status • Provide systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to development teams • Identify issue causes and provide probable causes and viable solutions • Collaborate with Digital Service teams to ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems • Coordinate application testing, including end-user acceptance and quality assurance reviews • Provide post-implementation support • Create documentation and training materials and provide orientation and training to end users

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 2-5+ years relevant experience working in a Business Analyst capacity within P&C Insurance • Certain certification may be required • Experience designing, developing, and implementing software solutions, systems, or products supporting underwriting, financial, or claims application systems • Experience with Duck Creek Policy or similar platforms supporting P&C insurance and digital transformation programs • Intermediate understanding of insurance workflows and systems • Comprehensive understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives • Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills • Logical, efficient, with keen attention to detail • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products • Ability to communicate ideas in technical and user-friendly language • Self-motivated and directed • Ability to adhere to established priorities and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Strong customer service orientation • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
