📋 Description

• Supervise a unit comprised of Claim Specialists that handle claims • Monitor claims trends and report on identified trends to department leadership. • Ensure claims handling is consistent with Crum & Forster’s best practices. • Work with various departments to address claims cost impacts. • Provide technical support to the claims specialists. • Review legal decisions and maintain an efficient claims staff. • Identify coverage issues and approve case reserve recommendations. • Recruit and mentor staff, ensuring alignment with department objectives. • Meet with customers to discuss claims capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. • 8+ years of experience, preferably in a WC Claims Supervisory and/or Management position. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs and Lotus Notes software applications. • Some travel required.
