📋 Description

• Own the design and development of full-stack product experiences end to end • Build responsive frontend applications with React and TypeScript • Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Rust • Improve application performance, reliability, security, and cost • Translate ambiguous product and technical problems into production-ready solutions with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams • Build and improve cloud infrastructure, databases, integrations, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines • Integrate applications with AWS infrastructure • Develop AI-powered product capabilities using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents • Identify technical and product opportunities and turn them into action

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript • Expertise with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and prompt evaluation techniques • Production experience building applications with React • Experience building backend APIs and distributed systems • Expertise with AWS • Familiarity with Kubernetes • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases • Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP • Experience with Rust, Go, or another statically typed language is a plus • Strong communication, product thinking, and problem-solving skills • Comfort taking ownership of ambiguous technical problems and driving them from design through production • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment • Based in NYC with the ability to work from our Brooklyn office, or remote with the ability to travel up to 30% of the year to collaborate with the team in person
