• Deliver the Cambridge Primary (Stage 3) curriculum for Grade 2. • Lead advanced phonics sessions and support students in transitioning to fluent reading. • Teach students to plan writing through discussion and use basic punctuation and grammar. • Guide students in identifying main ideas, predicting story outcomes, and discussing character motivations. • Teach counting, ordering, and place value for numbers up to 100. • Build mastery in addition and subtraction and introduce multiplication as repeated addition. • Teach identification of 2D and 3D shapes, lines of symmetry, and reading time to 5-minute intervals. • Introduce the concept of halves and quarters. • Design engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge Progression Grid. • Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and identify learning gaps. • Provide detailed feedback to parents regarding student academic and social development. • Use manipulatives, storyboards, and digital tools to make abstract concepts concrete.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a relevant subject. • Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Cambridge Primary/IGCSE curriculum. • Strong familiarity with Cambridge Primary Stage 3 frameworks. • High emotional intelligence, patience, and excellent verbal communication in English.
