• Coordinate and oversee patient scheduling for medical service providers, including APRNs and physicians • Schedule visits, especially F2F compliance visits, following strict Medicare/Medicaid guidelines • Work closely with affiliate medical directors to ensure medical staff productivity is met • Contact patients and families to schedule medical staff visits • Represent the Company professionally through care delivered and services provided to clients • Comply with state, federal and local regulations and Company policies and practices • Maintain confidentiality of patients, families, colleagues and sensitive situations • Participate in performance improvement, quality assurance, research, educational and community activities • Share expertise with co-workers and advance electronic media skills
• College degree or equivalent work experience • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in the healthcare field • Prior experience in a contact call center environment and/or medical staff scheduling and/or clinical patient care • Experience utilizing an electronic medical record and scheduling software • Strong Excel skills, including data input, formatting, filtering, sorting, worksheet/formula creation and management, and data analysis • Proficiency in Teams • Previous hospice experience • Strong medical terminology skills, preferably related to hospice • Able to perform sedentary work with frequent interruptions • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks and meet scheduling deadlines • Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and calmly • Patient scheduling and effective communication skills • Information seeking/probing skills • Accurate knowledge transfer • Listening, understanding and responding skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work in a cooperative team environment • Ability to work under moderate supervision with discretion and independent judgment • Computer operations, Microsoft Office software, data entry and navigation skills • Satisfactorily complete competency requirements for the position • Consent to drug and/or alcohol testing after a conditional offer and ongoing compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Policy • Eligibility through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse after a conditional offer and ongoing eligibility
