• Write onboarding words for new players • Craft upgrade flows, paywalls, and special offers • Own lifecycle marketing emails and messages • Partner with performance marketing team for paid marketing copywriting • Steward Tone & Voice for Chess.com

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years writing conversion-focused copy, ideally for a consumer product, subscription business, or app at scale • A portfolio that proves it, with onboarding flows, upsell screens, lifecycle emails, promo campaigns, and paid ad creative • Deep comfort with monetization, growth, and paid acquisition copy • Genuine fluency in tone and brand voice • A data-literate brain • Self-direction and experience in editing and rewriting • License to kill: our Director of Copywriting prefers someone with field experience
