• Assists in the processing of real estate loan department activity. • Reviews file documentation for completeness and consistency. • Assembles, collates and maintains documentation in proper processing order. • Pre-screens loan applications for qualifications. • Efficiently manages and monitors a pipeline of assigned loans. • Maintains a weekly status report on all files. • Prepares all applicable file documentation including regulatory disclosures. • Orders preliminary title reports, appraisals, and flood certifications. • Communicates loan processing information to members and other stakeholders. • Prepares loans for final underwriting approval.
• 3 to 5 years’ related experience required, including direct experience as RE loan processor. • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school. • Current working knowledge of real estate lending criteria (FNMA, FHLMC) required. • Ability to write and speak effectively in English using correct spelling and grammar. • Basic math skills including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages using a 10-key. • Proficient in the use of basic applications in a Windows-based environment including Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Moderate keyboard skills at 40 wpm. • Excellent customer service skills.
