📋 Description

• Design, build, and validate machine learning and statistical models that solve defined business problems • Explore large datasets to find trends and insights • Partner with data engineers to create and refine model features • Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of data-driven initiatives • Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear way that supports decisions • Work with engineers, product managers, and business partners in an agile environment to put models into products and processes • Follow CHG data privacy and security standards • Explore critical relationships and make strategic recommendations • Work closely with the strategic analytics team and other key stakeholders • Set clear evaluation metrics and test work thoroughly before it ships • Keep up with new data science and machine learning methods and bring ideas to the team • Own projects from question to production with light guidance • Help newer teammates grow

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field • 3-5 years of experience building and validating machine learning or statistical models • 3-5 years of experience using Python or R for data analysis and modeling • 3-5 years of SQL experience writing medium to complex queries • Demonstrated experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization tools or libraries • Experience deploying models to production preferred • Experience with Snowflake and dbt preferred • Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms preferred
