📋 Description

• Own the monthly close process, including multi-entity consolidation in NetSuite and consolidation of the international subsidiary • Own financial reporting and leadership reporting packages, including flux analysis and financial statements • Oversee equity administration and stock-based compensation accounting • Own spend management, procurement, corporate card spend, expense reimbursements, and bill pay/AP processes • Own banking relationships across US and Canadian entities and related bank compliance reporting • Own corporate insurance and vendor renewals across both entities • Serve as a trusted partner to finance leadership and cross-functional teams • Act as primary contact for external audit, tax, and banking partners • Drive continuous improvement and automation of close and accounting processes • Own the end-to-end quote-to-cash process, including billing configuration and revenue recognition • Partner cross-functionally on billing and financial systems • Own recurring MRR reporting for commissions and bank reporting • Own the annual financial statement audit, including readiness, PBC coordination, and controls-testing preparation • Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and operational processes • Own governance infrastructure, delegation of authority, and signature and authorization policies • Manage non-financial-statement audits, including sales and use tax, business tax, and unclaimed property • Own multi-jurisdiction sales and use tax compliance, including active audits • Monitor sales tax law changes and adapt compliance procedures • Coordinate with the external tax firm on income tax provision and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA designation preferred • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller experience • 3+ years of direct people management experience • Public accounting foundation (Big 4 or national firm) preferred • Deep US GAAP knowledge, including revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, and business combinations • Experience owning a multi-entity monthly close and consolidation process • International subsidiary experience is a strong plus • Track record of leading external audits and strengthening internal controls over financial reporting • Experience managing and developing an accounting team, ideally a distributed one • Comfort operating hands-on in a lean, fast-moving environment • Highly proficient with NetSuite and experienced with modern technology platforms such as Ramp and Carta
