CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange is a nonprofit organization (founded in 1947) that organizes and facilitates international educational and cultural exchange programs. It provides study abroad programs for college and high school students, gap-year and internship placements, TEFL certification and teaching abroad, professional and research exchange, Work & Travel and BridgeUSA programs, and host-family and employer partnerships. CIEE also administers scholarships and safety/onsite support services to help participants travel and study internationally while advancing intercultural understanding and global citizenship.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage relationships with new and existing host employers to generate placements across multiple program offerings within a defined territory • Identify, recruit, and support host families and local coordinators to provide housing solutions for Summer Work and Travel participants • Execute outreach strategies to engage prospective host employers, renew existing accounts, and expand placement opportunities • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and exceed individual sales and placement goals • Provide consultative support to host employers on hiring strategies, workforce planning, and program utilization • Manage host employer accounts, meet commitments, and identify growth and retention opportunities • Support planning and execution of host-focused community events • Track and report sales activity, placement results, and account performance; adjust outreach and engagement strategies as needed • Collaborate with compliance, participant services, and internal teams to ensure host satisfaction, participant success, and program quality • Respond proactively to host employer and participant needs and resolve challenges • Maintain regular stakeholder communication throughout the placement lifecycle • Deliver a gold-standard experience for hosts, participants, host families, and community partners through proactive communication, responsiveness, and customer service

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • Minimum 3–5 years of previous sales success required • B2B and human capital solutions experience preferred • Ability to draw conclusions and create strategy based on metrics • Strong verbal and written communication skills required • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required • Proactive approach and preference for working in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work with remote field staff • Ability to investigate and analyze information, draw conclusions, and solve problems efficiently • Energetic, personable, goal-oriented, and team-oriented • Tolerance for ambiguity and a sense of humor • Technology proficiency required; experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, and Teams preferred • Innovative, creative, and flexible in a changing environment • Passion for CIEE's mission and global exchange • Must be located in Montana • Background check, reference check, education verification, and employment verification required as conditions of employment
