📋 Description

• Submit accurate patient record requests to healthcare providers’ Release of Information departments using the internal request system • Follow up via phone, email, and fax to ensure timely record delivery • Upload, label, and organize medical records to the correct patient profiles in Salesforce • Maintain accurate documentation of provider interactions and collection activity in Salesforce • Meet or exceed collection volume and turnaround-time performance metrics • Build professional relationships with provider offices to facilitate record access • Identify and resolve issues such as incorrect fax numbers, unresponsive offices, and missing authorizations • Use judgment while maintaining HIPAA and internal data privacy compliance • Use a reliable, fast computer and stable high-speed internet • Manage cases, invoice payments, and external provider communications independently • Work independently with integrity while meeting tracked output expectations

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and shifting priorities • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated phone etiquette and persistence when following up with healthcare facilities • High attention to detail and consistent documentation habits • Self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision • Experience in medical records, healthcare administration, or customer service is a plus • Familiarity with HIPAA, record retrieval processes, or EMR systems is preferred but not required • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is highly valued • Reliable, up-to-date personal computer and high-speed internet required • Preference given to candidates who can work 30+ hours/week • Fast learner and comfortable with technology • Available to work during normal business hours, with operational hours of 8am to 6pm local time • Ability to work as an independent contractor • Must follow HIPAA and internal data privacy protocols
