📋 Description
• Help city teams produce smart and compelling editorial content for their podcast and newsletter, and social media accounts • Find compelling and timely pitches for the daily podcast, social, and newsletter content • Write the daily newsletter on assigned days with voice, humor, clarity, and relevance • Prep for podcast conversations with the host and Executive Producer • Edit episodes using Descript • Produce ads to be included in podcast episodes
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of experience creating and/or editing editorial content • Experience working in a deadline-driven editorial environment • Excellent writing skills with a clear, engaging voice • Experience with Descript or the willingness to learn • Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Experience making and editing videos for social is a plus • Required: To be considered for this role, you must be located and authorized to work within the United States.
