📋 Description
• Facilitate organ recovery and transplant • Take organ offers and review donors • Contact facilities and examine labs • Identify high-risk behaviors in potential donors • Ensure proper admission coordination
🎯 Requirements
• Degree or diploma from an accredited school of Nursing, Respiratory Therapy or Paramedics • Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) by the American Board for Transplant Certification (ABTC) within one year of hire • One year of experience as an Organ Procurement Coordinator • Clinical experience in critical care nursing, organ procurement or transplant • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Respiratory Therapist or Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic
