📋 Description

• Capture high-end footage and interviews for varied projects using cinematic cameras, lenses, sliders, GoPros, EyeDirect, field monitors and prompters • Collaborate with the Project Manager and producer on shoot planning and equipment lists • Serve as second camera operator, grip, or drone safety spotter • Film in active operating rooms while following safety protocols • Ingest footage through the Mac edit system interfacing with Quantum server and CatDV • Edit departmental content on a Mac using Final Cut Pro • Collaborate with producers and/or Project Managers on video editing needs • Film and/or edit provider profiles, lectures, digital storytelling projects and other assigned projects • Track project hours and share weekly with the Billing Coordinator and Project Manager • Assist the Senior Editor with project archiving preparation • Assist the Studio Engineer with control room and studio coverage as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Communications, Media, Film or other related fields • Relevant experience or skill sets may offset education requirement • Two years of filming experience using primarily cinematic cameras and lenses, and other field lighting and audio recording equipment • One year of video editing experience • Ability to film high-quality footage and interviews using cinematic cameras and lenses, appropriate lighting setups, and field and broadcast equipment • Ability to ingest and edit videos on Final Cut Pro interfacing with other programs and technology • Ability to assist with archiving, color correction and final file-making needs • Ability to work and support tapings in a studio and control room • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, calm and pleasant demeanor, collaborative and helpful approach, and ability to solve problems quickly under pressure • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information • Ability to move material and tools throughout the hospital system • In some locations, ability to move up to 50 lbs. • Must comply with annual influenza prevention program, vaccination or approved exemption • Employment offers are followed by testing for controlled substances
