📋 Description

• Provide a comprehensive, proactive and “Patients First” experience for patients and visitors • Investigate, triage and resolve patient issues using the established HEART model • Create a welcoming and professional environment and ensure stellar patient experiences • Perform patient registration, visit preparation, telephone triage, insurance verification and co-pay collection • Track patients and records and perform scheduling, arrival and departure desk activities • Screen and schedule interpreter services • Enter and maintain confidential patient information • Recruit, enroll and educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass • Assist with kiosk use, pre-registration, scheduling and checkout • Partner with physicians to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service OR Associate’s Degree and 1 year of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree • Working knowledge of PC window applications • Ability to perform basic math sufficient to process insurance co-pays • Knowledge of medical terminology • Demonstrable personal computer keyboard skills • Epic experience • Dexterity sufficient to operate a PC and other office equipment • Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods • Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision • Ability to navigate various locations and function in a fast-paced, hectic environment • Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds • Must follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required • Compliance with annual influenza vaccination or approved exemption program • Subject to controlled-substance testing following employment offers
