📋 Description

• Engage business leadership, internal stakeholders, and technology partners on the benefits of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence • Lead Data Science service education and awareness activities • Lead problem formulation and model building using ML and AI technologies • Define analytics and synthesize findings to address customer requirements and generate value • Advise customers and prospects on technology and tool selection for analytics requirements • Lead proof-of-concept launches and operationalize successful concepts • Monitor developments in data science and potential organizational applications • Contribute to scientific literature and academic partnerships • Educate stakeholders and internal customers on advanced analytics vision and value • Qualify prospects and propose Data Science services • Lead relationship development and technology evaluation for prospective enterprise partnerships • Lead instruction of the Analytics University curriculum for caregivers • Independently peer review models and communicate feedback • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• For Senior Data Scientist: Bachelor’s degree in Statistician, Actuarial Science, Econometrics, Physics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or related field and 8 years of related experience, including 2 years in healthcare or life sciences; OR Ph.D. and 4 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience • For Data Scientist III: Bachelor’s degree in a listed quantitative field or related field and 6 years of related experience; OR Ph.D. and 2 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience • Experience working with relational databases and/or distributed computing platforms and query interfaces such as SQL, Teradata, MapReduce, PIG, and Hive • Experience with statistical languages/packages such as SAS, R, Python, Spark, and/or SPSS • Knowledge of advanced statistics, modeling, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and/or Natural Language Processing • Familiarity with Python, Java, or C/C++ • Experience with visualization software, techniques, and business intelligence software • Technical knowledge of distributed computing platforms and data process flows from instrumentation and generation through ETL and data warehousing • Demonstrated leadership qualities, including presentation, influencing, and negotiation • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English • Ability to explain the value of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to business leaders • Strong business orientation and ability to select quantitative methodologies for business goals • Preferred: Master’s or Ph.D.; analytics, big data, data science, or related certification/fellowship; technology partner certification; leadership experience; project/change management; successful project leadership; mentoring junior developers; healthcare or life sciences experience
