📋 Description

• Secure philanthropic gifts through a process of identifying, qualifying, strategizing, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gift prospects. • Manage a team of development professionals, volunteers, Leadership Board members and administrative activities. • Set vision and implementation strategies for the generation of philanthropic funds for Cleveland Clinic priorities. • Promote collaboration between staff. • Provide leadership for the effective and efficient operation of assigned responsibility. • Achieve significant dollar goals; lead the success of campaigns for capital, programmatic, research, endowment and operating support for Cleveland Clinic. • Lead overall management of the area and supervise assigned employees. • Establish a program of personal visits with past, current and prospective donors, as appropriate. • Ensure that donors are properly advised as to the financial options available, projects and needs. • Develop funding proposals. • Act as a leader that is ultimately accountable for complete transfer of funds, property, etc. to Cleveland Clinic. • Other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • Ten years of progressively responsible experience in fund raising, direct solicitation and capital campaign environment, including management experience • Demonstrated success and experience in fund raising strategies for donor cultivation and direct solicitation • Strong leadership and decision-making skills • Ability to manage a diverse central service team • Excellent oral and written communication skills
