📋 Description

• Configure, build, maintain, and optimize Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and Professional Billing applications • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Epic application functionality and system configuration • Support hospital and professional billing workflows, including charge capture, claims, remittance, reimbursement, billing edits, and work queues • Troubleshoot and resolve application, billing, claims, and workflow issues • Perform workflow analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance revenue cycle efficiency • Participate in system design, configuration, testing, validation, implementation, upgrades, enhancements, patches, and production support • Develop and execute unit, integrated, regression, and end-to-end testing • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Billing, IT, Clinical, and operational teams • Gather requirements, document workflows, prepare functional specifications, and maintain application/build documentation • Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement solutions • Coordinate with third-party vendors and integrated applications • Assist with go-live activities, post-production support, and stabilization • Follow change-management, testing, security, and compliance procedures • Provide application support and guidance to end users and business stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with Epic applications in a healthcare IT environment • Hands-on experience with Epic Resolute HB and/or PB • Active Epic certification in HB and/or PB is strongly preferred/required depending on the engagement • Strong understanding of hospital and/or professional revenue cycle workflows • Experience with Epic build, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support • Strong knowledge of billing, claims, reimbursement, charge capture, and revenue cycle processes • Experience participating in Epic implementations, upgrades, enhancements, or optimization projects • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
