• Responsible for developing expert level knowledge of all CNA Surety products and services to sell and educate agency customers • Conduct regular sales calls to all agencies in assigned territory • Adjust to market changes to determine effective relationship touchpoints • Utilize and leverage technology resources for virtual contacts and effective selling strategies • Manage all logistics of being highly visible within the territory • Prospect for and seek out new agency appointments or business opportunities • Gather and record agency and market intelligence • Collaborate with Underwriting on market alignment and sales strategies
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or business development, or customer-facing role • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in sales and/or marketing • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, sales and telephone skills • Strong knowledge of insurance and surety industry practices • Accounting or business-related experience • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to provide highest level of customer service • Must be willing and able to travel as needed.
