📋 Description

• Support efforts for FAA’s scheduling and staffing systems • Ensure compliance and robust security across cloud-based and on-premise systems • Maintain the integrity and security of critical tools and staffing models • Mathematically formulate the staffing problem(s) and use a solver like CPLEX to find an optimal staffing plan • Conduct security scans, manage vulnerability remediation, and maintain accurate system inventories • Oversee vulnerability assessments, privacy impact evaluations, and security posture monitoring

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ equivalent years of experience in government cybersecurity management • Specific experience with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is required. • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Math, Operations Research, or Finance. • High level of proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and other MS Office Products. • Strong analytical background and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Extensive experience in cybersecurity and A&A processes. • Deep knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools and cybersecurity frameworks. • Strong understanding of cloud security and data protection strategies. • Python/R/Excel Solver/CPLEX/Gurobi experience. • Experience with Workforce Planning tools, optimization modeling and advanced analytics.
