📋 Description
• Provide evaluation and treatment of impairments involving speech and language • Treat executive functioning and cognitive needs • Address dysphagia and augmentative communication needs • Provide individualized neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities • Develop and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams • Support patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and complex orthopedic diagnoses
🎯 Requirements
• Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology • State licensure is required • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA is required • Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred • Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills • Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
