📋 Description
• Perform standardized operational statistical analyses • Support statistical analyses using large-scale internal data • Produce standard tables and graphical displays of statistical results • Produce data aggregations, including descriptive statistics and correlation coefficients • Write basic queries and programs and generate reports in various formats • Work with item-, student-, school-, district-, institution-, state-, and national-level data files • Organize data into formats suitable for specialized statistical and psychometric software • Manipulate statistical analysis output for further analyses • Maintain process maps and procedures documenting analyses and report generation • Create and maintain dataset documentation and layouts • Implement quality-control procedures for statistical analyses • Identify and implement quality checks and validations for critical business process changes and impacts • Review project deliverables and outputs, including process documents, publications, and requirements • Support strategically important large-scale research and analysis projects • Undertake research and analysis projects as a secondary investigator • Provide internal data from varied sources to research scientists and psychometricians • Provide research support and guidance to colleagues
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, social science, math/science field or equivalent experience • One to three years of demonstrated proficiency with statistical analysis programming (SAS, R, or Python preferred) • Experience handling and manipulating large-scale data • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with emphasis on MS Word and Excel • Scripting and programming skills • Strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills • Adept problem-solving skills, including using data to inform decisions and actions • Proficiency in developing and implementing analytical models with complex data • Research skills and expertise in methodology • Ability to translate general inquiries into analysis questions and tasks • Organizational and time management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Keen attention to detail • Ability to function in a team-oriented unit • Must be authorized to work in the US
