• Collaborate with the Program Manager and team to effectuate bold research initiatives • Support the development, funding, and management of new and existing R&D programs • Monitor and track performers progress toward established metrics • Conduct thorough technical scientific evaluation of the current R&D landscape • Perform basic administrative tasks such as collecting, sorting, analyzing, and writing internal reports/briefings • Assist and provide advice to the Program Manager to further program development and progress • Some CONUS travel is expected (~10-20%) as needed
• PhD in immunology, nucleic acid therapeutics, synthetic biology, analytical chemistry, materials science, or applied biotechnology • Experience in immunology, nucleic acid-based therapeutics, nucleic acid delivery, synthetic biology, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, mass spectrometry, toxicology, cell biology, or nanotechnology • Experience managing programs, independent verification and validation • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills • Professional curiosity, continuous drive for learning • Strong technical writing skills • Ability to communicate complex scientific ideas to broad audiences
