📋 Description

• Creating and updating detailed 3D models of electrical systems using BIM software • Integrating design information from various disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) into the 3D model • Identifying and resolving spatial conflicts or clashes between different building components using clash detection tools • Generating drawings, schedules, and visualizations from the 3D model to support construction planning and execution • Ensuring the BIM model remains current with design changes and project updates • Working closely with VDC project managers, engineers, supers, and construction PMs to ensure alignment between digital designs and on-site realities • Providing 3D visualizations, clash reports, and other information to aid decision-making and project execution

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Evolve, ACC, Solidworks, or Navisworks • Ability to create detailed 2D drawings from 3D models • Sound understanding of construction methods and terminology, building codes, and industry standards • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to analyze and interpret design information • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to create/modify basic Revit families • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines
