📋 Description

• Complete initial intake evaluations to determine diagnosis and program appropriateness • Utilize CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based therapies • Oversee patients’ initial and continuing insurance needs • Meet individually with patients to assess progress and guide treatment planning • Coordinate care with patients’ individual providers to ensure continuity of care • Assess patient progress and need for a higher level of care or discharge • Communicate with patients’ family members or support systems when indicated • Chart in the electronic medical records system • Engage in crisis management • Provide group therapy as needed • Collaborate with Group Therapists, Family Therapists, Prescribers, outpatient teams, and treatment teams • Lead patients through their overall treatment program

🎯 Requirements

• Psychologist or Master’s-level therapist with clinical license (required) • 2+ years clinical work experience post-Master’s (strongly preferred) • Knowledge and experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidence-based therapies • Experience with patients in crisis • Preference for candidates based in Illinois or Minnesota with an active, full clinical license • Approximately 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. CT availability
