📋 Description

• Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert and explain security impacts in business terms • Facilitate the Cybersecurity offering and focus on CMMC Compliance • Provide security direction to the business and project stakeholders • Engage in project initiation, requirements, and design stages to ensure security is appropriately incorporated • Review and design security for complex applications and technologies • Evaluate and maintain security system plans and procedures • Research, recommend, and implement security procedure and system changes • Identify, address, and resolve key risks and issues • Perform security risk assessments and document customers’ systems • Liaise between ComTec and cybersecurity vendors • Review and analyze cybersecurity reports weekly • Monitor assigned tickets and tasks, providing service or escalation as necessary • Develop tasks and milestones for security projects • Translate business and non-functional requirements into security controls and document security solutions • Enter and maintain ticket information, including notes and resolutions • Follow departmental policies for reporting, requests, and change controls • Maintain and submit daily timesheets and expense reports accurately and timely • Perform other required duties

🎯 Requirements

• 5 years working in Information Technology • 2 years in Cybersecurity • 1 year in CMMC compliance • Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 or 800-53 • Vulnerability Management knowledge • Strong security architecture background, including IT network security, secure LAN/WAN/vLAN/MPLS, network zoning, restricted network design, and cloud-based technologies • Strong Network Engineering background, including Windows Server architecture, Windows Virtualization, Networking, Backup Solutions, and Disaster Recovery • Strong Microsoft security architecture background, including server and workstation security • Ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server, on-premise Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, EDR/MDR solutions, and enterprise backup solutions • Knowledge of NAS/SAN solutions • In-depth workstation/server hardware and software troubleshooting abilities • Understanding of switches, firewalls, and wireless access points • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multitask and work independently without direct supervision • Strong organizational skills • Ability to work effectively with clients at all levels • Ability to schedule occasional evening or weekend work • Valid driver's license in state of residence and reliable personal vehicle
