📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of clients and provide ongoing fractional controllership services • Oversee the month-end close and financial reporting process for key clients • Review financial statements and identify trends and opportunities through variance and financial analysis • Support budgeting, forecasting, and other FP&A initiatives • Develop and improve accounting workflows, controls, and reporting processes • Create industry-specific metrics to monitor financial performance • Prepare client-specific internal reporting and financial insights • Collaborate closely with bookkeeping and tax teams to ensure alignment and accuracy • Lead client meetings and communicate financial results and recommendations clearly.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA designation (preferred) or MBA with strong accounting and finance experience • 3+ years of FP&A, controllership, or other progressive accounting/finance experience • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, particularly month-end close processes • Strong familiarity with cloud accounting platforms and Microsoft Excel • Willingness to investigate issues and problem-solve using professional judgement independently • Foresight to be proactive and complete tasks with minimal oversight • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-performing remote team environment • Ability to lead client meetings and think strategically.
