📋 Description

• Support instructional programs through synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing using Class Zoom • Grade assignments and provide prompt, high-quality, personalized feedback • Communicate regularly with students and teachers to update pacing plans and schedules • Use data to monitor assignment completion and facilitate student interactions • Review curriculum and determine modifications for students requiring IEP or 504 accommodations • Collaborate with team members and administrators on enrichment activities and differentiated lesson modifications • Develop general curriculum knowledge and detailed knowledge of assigned courses • Communicate with students through phone, chat, and WebMail • Protect student well-being and personal information in accordance with FERPA and Copyright & Fair Use laws • Keep student performance and participation records current by grading assessments and logging student and parent contacts • Hold regular office hours for a minimum of 3 hours per week • Use online communication tools to build relationships and promote student success • Foster an inviting, supportive online community for students and families • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Highly qualified and certified to teach American Sign Language • Valid state teaching certificate in WA, TX, MI, or IN • Completed traditional teacher preparation program (not alternative certification) at an accredited college or university • Bachelor's degree • Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested • Provide timely feedback and grade assessments within the required timeframe • Attend check-in meetings with your supervisor twice per month or as scheduled • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, prioritization, self-direction, and creativity • Understanding of IEP/504 plans and virtual implementation • Strong technology skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office programs or Google Apps preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills • Customer-focused approach and commitment to student achievement
