The program offers grade-level courses, college and career readiness, clubs and socialization opportunities, and technology support across multiple U. S. states.

📋 Description

• Support synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions using Class Zoom • Grade assignments and provide prompt, high-quality, personalized feedback • Communicate regularly with students and teachers to update pacing plans and schedules • Use data to monitor assignment completion and facilitate student interactions • Review curriculum and modify courses for students requiring IEP or 504 accommodations • Develop alternate enrichment activities and lesson modifications for struggling or at-risk students • Maintain general curriculum knowledge and detailed knowledge of assigned courses • Communicate with students by phone, chat, and WebMail • Protect student well-being and personal information and follow FERPA and Copyright & Fair Use laws • Keep student performance and participation information current • Log student and parent contacts • Hold regular office hours for a minimum of 3 hours per week • Use online communication tools to build relationships and promote student success • Foster a welcoming and supportive online community for students and families • Attend supervisor check-in meetings twice per month or as scheduled • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Highly qualified and certified to teach Science • Valid state teaching certificate in TX, MI, or PA • Completed traditional teacher preparation program, not alternative certification • Bachelor's degree • Degree from an accredited college or university • Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested • Timely feedback to students and grading within required timeframes • Attend supervisor check-in meetings twice per month or as scheduled • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, prioritization, self-direction, and creativity • Understanding of IEP/504 plans in a virtual setting • Strong technology skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office programs or Google Apps preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent attention to detail • Strong time management and organizational skills • Customer-focused approach and commitment to student achievement
