The program offers grade-level courses, college and career readiness, clubs and socialization opportunities, and technology support across multiple U. S. states.

📋 Description

• Support the instructional program through synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions using Class Zoom • Complete grading and provide prompt, high-quality, personalized feedback on assignments • Communicate regularly with students and other teachers to update pacing plans and schedules • Use data to monitor assignment completion and facilitate student interactions • Review curriculum and determine course modifications for students requiring IEP or 504 accommodations • Consult with team members and administrators to develop enrichment activities and lesson modifications for struggling or at-risk students • Develop general curriculum knowledge and detailed knowledge of assigned courses • Communicate with students through phone, chat, and WebMail • Protect student well-being and personal information and follow FERPA and Copyright & Fair Use laws • Keep student performance and participation information current by grading assessments and logging student and parent contacts • Hold regular office hours for a minimum of 3 hours per week • Use online communication tools to build relationships and promote student success • Foster an inviting, warm, and supportive online community for students and families • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Highly qualified and certified to teach Spanish with a valid teaching certificate in any state • Must have completed a traditional teacher preparation program (not alternative certification) at an accredited college or university • Bachelor's degree • Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested • Ability to provide timely student feedback and grade assessments within required timeframes • Attend check-in meetings with supervisor twice per month or as scheduled • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, task prioritization, self-direction, and creativity • Understanding of IEP/504 plans and their implementation in a virtual setting • Strong technology skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office programs or Google Apps preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent attention to detail • Strong time management and organizational skills • Customer-focused approach and commitment to student achievement • Laptop, headset, second monitor, mouse, keyboard, and reliable high-speed internet • Work from home within the United States • Compliance with home office privacy, technology, equipment, and work-at-home policies
