Connections Academy is a tuition-free, accredited K–12 online public school program operated by Connections Education (a Pearson division). It delivers state-aligned curriculum and virtual classroom experiences with certified teachers, personalized learning, and support for families serving as learning coaches. The program offers grade-level courses, college and career readiness, clubs and socialization opportunities, and technology support across multiple U. S. states.

📋 Description

• Virtually manage instructional programs for High School Science • Complete all grading and progress reports in a timely manner • Support instructional program with synchronous and asynchronous sessions • Review curriculum and devise alternate teaching approaches • Communicate regularly with parents, students, and other teachers • Develop Personal Learning Plans and schedules • Keep student records and data up-to-date • Consult with other teachers to develop enrichment activities • Participate in the organization of the State Testing • Attend field trips and other community activities

🎯 Requirements

• Highly qualified and certified to teach High School Science in Indiana • Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS, MS Office programs, and Google Suite) • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Customer focused approach • High degree of flexibility • Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment • Team player track record • Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel) • Ability to work some occasional evening hours as needed to support some families • Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2-step authentication
