📋 Description
• Provide virtual speech therapy to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy virtual public schools • Connect with students using webcams and web conferencing software • Manage caseload using the company's online Education Management System • Plan and implement individual and group therapy in a virtual environment • Maintain positive working relationships with the LiveSpeech team and schools • Conduct screenings and evaluate students’ communication needs • Communicate regularly with parents/learning coaches and school staff regarding IEP goals • Schedule, organize and conduct IEP related meetings in a virtual environment as needed
🎯 Requirements
• MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence • Must hold active/valid state and/or Department of Education Licensure in Speech Pathology required in state of residence • Ability to obtain and maintain multiple required state certifications and clearances as assigned • 2+ years experience in K-12 school setting • Strong technology skills • High degree of flexibility and ability to work independently • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
