📋 Description

• Engage with educators to validate and iterate analytics models • Develop an understanding of algorithms, product-supporting technologies and platforms, and proprietary educational content • Synthesize knowledge into actionable tests • Build modules to help identify each student's academic needs • Work with AI tools and workflows to support data-driven decision-making • Perform data mining and cleaning from web, internal trackers, and marketing platforms • Support AI and chatbot development projects for ConnectPrep programs and website • Conduct SEO and keyword research to identify growth opportunities and track performance • Analyze website traffic, engagement, and conversions • Prepare simple dashboards and summary reports • Assist with data analysis for marketing campaigns, content performance, and business operations • Test, document, and iterate on new data and AI workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Enjoy creative problem solving and working with messy, real-world data • Strong math/quantitative skills and excellent attention to detail • Curiosity about how data can improve learning and student outcomes • Studying or having studied Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field • Some coding experience and a strong interest in technology and AI • Experience with SQL, Python data tools (Pandas, NumPy, or similar), or building simple data pipelines or analysis scripts in Python • Comfortable performing advanced Excel analysis, including formulas and functions, tables and formatting, conditional formatting, charting and visualizations, pivot tables and pivot reporting, data tables, simulations, and Solver • Prior internship or project experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or marketing analytics is nice to have • Familiarity with web analytics and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, Search Console, or Looker Studio is nice to have • Experience visualizing data in Tableau, Power BI, or Data Studio is nice to have • Experience with SEO tools or keyword platforms is nice to have • Experience collaborating in remote or hybrid teams using Slack, Zoom, or project management boards is nice to have • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
