• Report to a designated Task Manager and support assigned estimating tasks and deliverables • Prepare independent construction cost estimates for electrical scopes based on plans, specifications, and related contract documents • Review and interpret project documentation and requirements to develop detailed estimate assumptions and quantity takeoffs • Participate in estimate development activities including: Analyzing scope, quantities, and constructability considerations • Validating pricing and aligning estimate detail to the project delivery phase • Assisting with reconciliation discussions and estimate reviews • Support negotiation activities by helping evaluate pricing, scope alignment, and cost drivers • Coordinate with internal team members and stakeholders to ensure estimates are complete, consistent, and well documented • Assist with maintenance of historical cost data and estimating resources to support future estimates and benchmarking
• Demonstrated experience performing electrical cost estimating for construction projects • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation • Working knowledge of construction cost estimating practices, including quantity takeoffs and development of estimate basis/assumptions • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (entire suite), including strong spreadsheet skills for cost estimating and historical data collection • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
