📋 Description

• Design and document installed solutions with moderate complexity according to project requirements • Analyze plans, functional specifications and site visits to determine and advise on overall project requirements • Prepare estimates and quotes using estimation software • Assist with customer requests for information, including RFIs and RFPs • Communicate proactively with colleagues, vendors, consultants and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) • Collaborate with the sales team to articulate the value proposition of CTC products and services • Provide input, review and coordinate shop drawings and wiring diagrams • Identify cost-effective solutions meeting customer requirements and project schedules • Work with vendors to register project scopes for best pricing and product availability • Advise Sales Professionals and Project Managers on installation products, lead times and availability • Prepare and/or review formal submittal booklets with schematics and technical literature • Perform other requested or required duties • Participate in the Recruit Awesome People program by referring top talent

🎯 Requirements

• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience • 1-3 years sales engineering, estimating or equivalent experience • Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) • Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure • Ability to take initiative and engage in proactive behaviors and opportunities for improvement
