📋 Description

• Overseeing accounting services for a portfolio of client accounts • Managing and developing a team of accounting professionals • Reviewing financial statements, managing client relationships • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables • Communicate directly with clients regarding financial results, questions, and accounting matters • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes for client accounts • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation • Identify discrepancies or issues within financial data and resolve accordingly • Evaluate client accounting processes and recommend improvements when appropriate • Support special projects, operational analysis, and client initiatives as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required • CPA designation preferred but not required • Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience • At least 2 years of experience managing or supervising accounting staff • Experience in public accounting or outsourced/client accounting environments strongly preferred • Experience reviewing the work of others and overseeing financial reporting • Proficiency with QuickBooks, preferably QuickBooks Online • Strong experience with financial statement preparation and month-end close processes • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office • Experience with additional accounting systems or ERP platforms is a plus
