📋 Description

• Plan and conduct Final or Service audits of voluntary policyholder business records • Determine earned premium through proper classification and measurement of insurance risk exposures • Conduct timely service audits with new policyholders to analyze risk exposure and identify service requirements • Audit claims to verify claimant employment and proper claim classification • Review and process service and final audits from staff and contract auditors • Liaise between policyholders, brokers, and departments to resolve audit disputes • Cultivate internal and external partner relationships • Provide consultation and technical assistance to finance, underwriting, marketing, producers, and policyholders • Maintain current knowledge of state board, bureau, jurisdictional rules, and regulations • Communicate audit information and risk conditions to appropriate stakeholders • Schedule audit appointments and manage assignments with minimal oversight • Manage workload, work-in-process, and progress documentation • Work remotely while covering all U.S. states; conduct in-person audits when requested by clients • Provide guidance to lower-level positions and assist in training new employees • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience • 5 years related experience • Experience working out of a home office • Proficient in MS Office software applications • General business knowledge and understanding of insurance products • Ability to learn and articulate Core Specialty’s underwriting philosophy and practices • Business background with knowledge of basic accounting concepts • APA or CPCU designation is preferred • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • Employer cannot sponsor or take over work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
