• Oversee the overall P&L of key strategic Cotiviti Government Service government contract and agency programs • Directly and indirectly manage operational staff responsible for government contract delivery • Manage complex client-required program tasks and initiatives in a matrixed organization • Plan, budget, and manage government contracts, including subcontractors, forecast accuracy, staffing, revenue, and growth targets • Serve as the primary client interface for contract performance, risk management, and customer satisfaction • Train and mentor contract and operational staff on contract protocols, deliverables, communications, meetings, and subject matter • Develop strategic business objectives and direction for a Federal and/or State Program Department unit • Develop business proposals and written budget justifications for task orders, additional funding, and contract extensions • Understand client businesses and demonstrate technical competence in Cotiviti services • Monitor government agency, legislative, regulatory, political, and competitive landscapes to protect and grow the business • Build relationships with Cotiviti teams, clients, and strategic partners • Identify client expectations and exceed mutually agreed-upon objectives • Attend industry events and conferences and develop strategic agendas and partnerships • Attract, manage, retain, develop, and plan succession for employees • Promote Cotiviti and develop contacts within the business community and healthcare industry • Shape client needs and expansion opportunities to optimize service and delivery • Identify and develop partnerships supporting entry into new contracts and markets • Hire, develop, coach, lead, and retain top-tier talent while building a high-performing team and culture • Complete annual performance-review responsibilities, special projects, and other assigned duties
• Bachelor’s degree required • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred • 10+ years account management experience in a healthcare insurance environment • Medicaid and Medicare experience desired • Financial background preferred • 5+ years’ experience in government program integrity/payment integrity • 5+ years’ experience directly managing staff required • 5+ years’ project management experience required • Knowledge of Federal and State Government Healthcare Contracting • Knowledge of Claims Processing and Reimbursement Methodologies • Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and CMS security requirements • Working knowledge of federal and state Medicaid regulations • Exceptional client management and business development • Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders, external entities, and customers • Ability to prepare and facilitate executive-level presentations • Ability to negotiate and collaborate at an executive level • Ability to analyze and interpret financial information • Excellent time management and ability to multitask • Ability to manage contract deliverables in hierarchical and matrix-based organizations • Ability to handle highly confidential information professionally • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance
