📋 Description

• Investigate workers compensation claims • Evaluate workers compensation claims • Negotiate and settle claims on behalf of clients • Take statements • Issue lost wage payments • Complete state filings • Deny claims when appropriate • Handle subrogation • Manage litigation • Communicate with CEOs, claimants, providers offices, and attorneys

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster • Must be located in California • License/state experience in California and your SIP • Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software
