📋 Description

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers compensation claims on behalf of clients. • Communicate with CEOs, claimants, providers' offices, and attorneys. • Handle claims across multiple jurisdictions. • Take statements, pay lost wage benefits, file state forms, deny claims, conduct subrogation, and manage litigation-related activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster. • License/state experience in the Southeast states. • Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office and claims management software. • Previous workers compensation adjusting experience, including taking statements, paying lost wage benefits, filing state forms, denying claims, subrogation, and litigation. • Experience handling claims in multiple jurisdictions.
