📋 Description

• Investigate, inspect, evaluate, and pay Federal Crop and Crop Hail Claims • Review clients' policies and determine coverage levels • Contact clients within 24 hours and explain claims procedures • Set inspection dates and times • Inspect damage and determine cause of loss • Evaluate and calculate damages and issue payments • Participate in auditing, bin measurements, drone flights, training, compliance, and meeting presentations • Communicate and negotiate with insureds, claimants, insurance carriers, and other involved parties regarding claim investigation and settlement • Adjust all federal crop claims in the American Farm Bureau Insurance Services CAP estimating system • Maintain relationships with agency and Illinois Farm Bureau Managers in the assigned territory • Travel with overnight or extended stays as needed • Work beyond normal working hours as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training • Requires a valid driver's license for all levels • Requires a Federal Crop Certification for P2-P4 • Ability to climb and/or walk fields in all weather conditions • Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs. • Ability to travel with overnight or extended stays as needed • Ability to work beyond normal working hours as needed
