📋 Description

• Provide management information system user support by phone or site visit • Troubleshoot end-user problems • Participate in training related to PDF accessibility, document remediation procedures, and organizational software tools • Use specialized software to identify and correct accessibility issues in PDF documents • Review assigned PDF files and perform remediation according to established procedures • Modify tags, headings, lists, reading order, tables, links, images, and document properties • Use automated accessibility-checking tools and verify completed work • Perform basic manual quality checks of remediated documents • Coordinate with the agency webmaster to upload accessible documents and replace non-accessible documents • Work with the project supervisor to resolve questions and determine how complex documents should be handled • Escalate documents or accessibility issues outside established procedures or requiring advanced remediation • Follow documented workflows and apply established remediation standards • Maintain accurate records of assigned documents, completed work, remediation status, and issues requiring review • Manage and organize electronic files according to file-naming, storage, and document-control procedures • Process a high volume of documents while maintaining accuracy and meeting productivity expectations • Incorporate supervisor and quality-review feedback • Protect confidential or sensitive information in organizational documents • Perform related technical and project-support duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• General knowledge of computers, software applications, file management, and common office technology • Demonstrated ability to learn new software applications and technical processes • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies • Ability to follow written procedures and step-by-step technical instructions • Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented computer work accurately and consistently • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to manage multiple files and assignments while maintaining accurate work records • Ability to communicate questions, problems, and progress effectively with a supervisor • Ability to work independently after receiving training while seeking guidance when appropriate • Experience using Equidox PDF Remediation Software • Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro or other PDF editing software • Experience with document processing, data entry, records management, quality assurance, or other high-volume production-oriented work • Familiarity with digital accessibility concepts, assistive technology, or accessibility standards • Candidates must be local to the Atlanta area • High Speed Internet Access • Ability to remote into DCH systems via Weblink
