📋 Description

• Develop and provide students with an approved Covista syllabus following the local campus template and including terminal course objectives • Organize, prepare, regularly revise, and update course materials • Use websites, email, online discussions, and course-related software to prepare courses and make them accessible • Model effective oral and written communication • Set clear course expectations, objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weightings • Ensure exam content and level correspond to course terminal objectives • Prepare and grade exams consistently and fairly • Provide timely feedback to students • Teach Primary Care of the Childbearing and Childrearing Family Practicum • Complete other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• MSN and DNP (or MSN and PhD in nursing) degrees are required • A minimum of 1-2 years online teaching experience at the graduate level is required • Must have an active unencumbered compact RN nursing license (multi-state) • FNP certification required • Clinical experience as FNP required • Online teaching experience highly preferred • Must have subject matter expertise in the course of instruction • Excellent communication, motivational, and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment • Must be willing to obtain Illinois nursing license prior to teaching if not already obtained
