• Conduct and deliver physical and financial audits for NextGear Capital’s Risk organization • Support client-facing Operations team members managing the dealer account portfolio • Establish rapport with dealers and perform comprehensive risk assessments at dealer locations, auctions, and repair shops • Investigate, observe, and document dealership processes and practices and identify risks • Inspect collateral through lot and title audits and determine dealers’ equity and business health for underwriting • Verify inventory in market share conversion of $500,000+ to mitigate risk while growing the portfolio • Present findings to dealers and take next steps, including re-educating dealers, reviewing inventory trends, collecting payments, and obtaining documentation • Assist Recovery with repossessions by collecting keys, securing collateral, arranging transportation to auction, and monitoring daily funding receivables • Deliver audit results in written, visual, and verbal form to Operations, Risk, and Senior Leadership • Perform repo and location audits
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field and up to 2 years of related work experience • Alternatively, 4 years of experience in a related field without a degree • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Must be able and willing to travel regionally on short notice 75% of the time • Extensive driving; valid driver’s license required • Ability to establish priorities based on significant risks • Independent judgment and decision-making skills • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills • Ability to manage multiple work activities concurrently within allocated time • Preparation, organization, workflow, timeline, and expectation-management skills • Ability to establish rapport and trust with colleagues and clients • Ability to remain calm and professional in unpleasant or aggressive field environments • Ability to work in heat, cold, rain, sleet, and other inclement weather • Must clear a pre-employment drug test • 3+ years of auto industry-related experience preferred • 1–2 years of audit/inspection experience preferred • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship • No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship now or in the future
