• Administer leave policies and procedures, including the FMLA, the ADA, the PWFA and state and local leave laws. • Process leave requests and documentation timely. • Gather and analyze information to determine employee eligibility for leave. • Approve or deny leave requests using sound, inclusive reasoning and judgment. • Communicate with employees and managers regarding leave-related issues. • Provide training to employees and managers on leave policies and procedures. • Maintain leave records and reports. • Stay up-to-date on changes to leave laws and regulations. • Perform additional duties assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives. • Configure leave administration systems based on client requirements. • Validate leave plans, absence codes, eligibility rules, workflows, and notifications. • Perform system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Troubleshoot configuration issues and work with technical teams to resolve defects. • Ensure accurate data integration and file transmissions between systems. • Support client implementations through process testing, system validation, and issue resolution, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (preferred). • 5+ years of experience in leave administration. • Strong knowledge of the FMLA, the ADA, and state and local leave laws. • Sound decision making capabilities and critical thinking skills. • Excellent customer service skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. • Strong knowledge and application of Excel. • Ability to work remotely in the contiguous United States.
